This is our favorite way to learn about the musical masters! What a simple way to bring some cultural refinement into your homeschool without any effort on your part. The narrated life story of the composer is interspersed with excerpts of his greatest works. Our whole family (8 years to adult) especially enjoys the story-like narration. Each recording ends with the performance of one of the composer's famous pieces. Each set contains 6 audio CDs. Highly recommended! Some things are just much more fun when taught by computer game! Music Ace combines solid instruction with fun games and a chance to create your own music. Music Ace has 24 self-paced lessons that teach fundamental music skills and music theory, such as keyboard basics, pitch identification, note reading, key signatures, major scales, etc. At the end of the lesson, you get to play a game to test and sharpen your newly learned skills.
