Published on the heels of World War II, this classic allegory of the foolishness and corruption of a totalitarian regime makes excellent discussion material for teens. The author, dismayed by his first-hand view of Stalin's Russia, uses his novel in portraying Communism. Easy and fun to read, but very thought provoking!
