Wee Sing America CD and Songbook
Wee Sing America is a tribute to our nation, a collection of 60 songs about our land and our flag, war and peace, and about the people who explored, settled and built our country–songs that were created and sung by our forefathers. The songbook has the scores and words from every verse along with quotes and fascinating facts. I don't think it should be called "Wee", since the songs are inspiring for teens and adults too! We sing these songs often, especially at the beginning of our homeschool. Includes 60 minutes of song and a 64 page small, illustrated paperback songbook.
Songs include: We Love the USA; The Star-Spangled Banner; You're a Grand Old Flag; Pledge to the Flag; Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue; The Stars and Stripes Forever; There Are Many Flags; America, America, America; America the Beautiful; The United States; Yankee Doodle Boy; Yankee Doodle; Old Abe Lincoln; Dixie; Battle Hymn of the Republic; When Johnny Comes Marching Home; Goober Peas; The Caissons; Marine's Hymn; Anchors Aweigh; Sweet Betsy from Pike; I've Been Workin' on the Railroad; John Henry; Drill; Ye Tarriers; Paddy Works on the Railroad; The Old Chisholm Trail; Good-Bye, Old Paint, I Ride an Old Paint; Git Along, Little Doggies; My Home's in Montana; Old Texas; The Boll Weevil; Pick a Bale o' Cotton; Cotton Needs Pickin'; Shuckin' of the Corn; Old Settler's Song; Sacramento; Blow Ye Winds; Cape Cod Chantey; Blow the Man Down; Erie Canal; and Down the River. |
