Old Fashioned Oatmeal non-GMO in Sturdy Bucket, 23 lbs
Why store oatmeal? It is a natural "fast food", can be eaten raw, cooked, or added to foods (cookies, pancakes, breads, meatloaf, muffins, etc). It is ready-to-use and full of healthy fiber. Besides, most everyone loves it. Top with some raw honey for a delicious quick meal.
This is old-fashioned (not instant) oatmeal. The whole grain is lightly heated (enzymes are not destroyed) and rolled flat. To cook, just add 1 cup oatmeal to 2 1/2 cups boiling water. Turn heat to low and let simmer for 5-10 minutes. I remarked to my husband that if we just had dry milk, raw honey and oatmeal, we could probably feed everyone for pennies, without much cooking or much complaining—yum! This bucket contains 25 lb of regular oats. Non-GMO.
